Membership Applications

Your support of the Pacific-West Fastener Association is very much appreciated. Pac-West enjoys some of the most loyal members of the industry, showing steady increases in membership.
 
The Pac-West Board of Directors is making great strides in providing more opportunities for building our community of fastener distributors and suppliers, both peer-to-peer and in the association's governance. We recognize that the value of Pac-West is this sense of community and that the foundation of our success as an association and as businesses is the relationships we develop. Pac-West's mission says it all: "To strengthen our member companies through educational opportunities, alliances, advocacy, and highly effective relationships.”

Regular membership 

This type is for companies involved in the distribution, importing, manufacturing, and/or secondary processing of mechanical fasteners. This includes Distributors, Manufacturer's Representatives, and Suppliers.
    • You will be asked to create an online profile for your application in the "New User" section.
  • Regular membership requirements
    • Regular membership is for any firm, corporation, multi-lined company, and/or individual sales representative engaged in the distribution, importing, manufacturing, and/or secondary processing (including, but not limited to plating, testing, heat treating and applying locking elements) of mechanical fasteners primarily within the thirteen (13) western United States of Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, and western Canada is eligible to become a Regular Member of this Association, with full voting and any other privileges, if qualified under such guidelines as the Membership Committee may provide.
    • Applicants must be located in North America.
    • Applicants must be established for at least one year.
 

Associate membership 

This type is for companies providing non-fastener products or services (including, but not limited to software, packaging, and insurance) to the fastener industry.
    • You will be asked to create an online profile for your application in the "New User" section.
  • Associate membership requirements
    • Associate membership is for any individual, firm, corporation, or multi-line company supporting the fastener industry by providing non-fastener products or services (including, but not limited to software, packaging, and insurance), and which has been established for at least one year is eligible to become an Associate member of this association. Associate membership entitles the company or individual to all the benefits and privileges of membership, except the right to vote.
    •  Applicants must be established for at least one year.

 

Once we have received all of the required letters of reference, it generally takes two weeks to process your membership application.
